About us
Welcome to our meet-up page for IAF Facilitators and Friends, a meet-up group organised by the Belgian chapter of IAF, the International Association of Facilitators.
Our team organises regular meet-ups for facilitators (new & experienced, corporate, non-profit, government, …) interested in learnings, sharing or inspiring each other. These sessions are open to members and non-members of IAF.
The types of events we organise are:
- Our Facilitator Studios, a floor for our facilitators to try out new things in a safe environment;
- Our Educational Sessions, aimed at sharing proven methodologies, from which we can all learn;
- Our Community Building Sessions, organised for getting to know each other better.
We look forward to meeting you at one of our events!
Take care,
Ralph, Marie, Nina, Alexandre & Joost

Facilitating at the Edge: Holding Grief and Hope in Times of Transition.
Commons Hub Brussels, Rue de la Madeleine 51, 1000 Bruxelles, Belgium, Bruxelles, BEHow do we honour what is ending while creating space for what is emerging? 🤔
Explore how the Three Horizons' practice allows us to hold both.As facilitators, we increasingly find ourselves holding spaces shaped by uncertainty, disruption, and profound transition. Many of the challenges facing our organisations, communities, and societies invite us to confront a difficult paradox: how do we acknowledge what is ending while remaining open to what is trying to emerge? 💭
Drawing on the Three Horizons framework, embodied awareness practices, and Bill Sharpe's work on the Patterning of Hope as Key Practice, this highly experiential session invites participants to explore facilitation as an existential practice.
Together, we will investigate how grief, hope, uncertainty, and possibility show up in our work and what capacities are needed to hold these tensions with presence and care.
💡 Rather than offering another facilitation method, this session creates a space to experience what it means to facilitate at the edge - where endings and beginnings coexist, and where the future becomes something we participate in shaping together. 🔭What you will gain ?
- Experience Three Horizons as a living facilitation practice
- Explore how grief and hope coexist during periods of change and transition
- Deepen their awareness of the emotional, relational and energetic dimensions of facilitation
- Strengthen their capacity to hold uncertainty without rushing to solutions
- Leave with practical reflections and facilitation principles for navigating emergence in their own work
