About us
Welcome to our meet-up page for IAF Facilitators and Friends, a meet-up group organised by the Belgian chapter of IAF, the International Association of Facilitators.
Our team organises regular meet-ups for facilitators (new & experienced, corporate, non-profit, government, …) interested in learnings, sharing or inspiring each other. These sessions are open to members and non-members of IAF.
The types of events we organise are:
- Our Facilitator Studios, a floor for our facilitators to try out new things in a safe environment;
- Our Educational Sessions, aimed at sharing proven methodologies, from which we can all learn;
- Our Community Building Sessions, organised for getting to know each other better.
We look forward to meeting you at one of our events!
Take care,
Sue, Sylvain, Ralph and Marie

The motivations and obstacles to organisational sustainability
La Fleur en Papier Doré, Rue des Alexiens 55, 1000 Bruxelles, Belgium, Bruxelles, BEWhat helps organisations move towards sustainability ... and what gets in the way? 🤔
Sustainability is increasingly part of organisational conversations. But wanting to become more sustainable and actually making it happen are two different things.
- What motivates organisations to move forward?
- What slows them down or blocks them?
- And what can we discover when we explore these forces collectively?For this IAF Belgium Facilitator Studio, Artur Kasza invites us to explore the motivating and blocking forces for organisational sustainability.
But there is another layer to the evening.As a Facilitator Studio, this is also an opportunity to experience and test a workshop format together.
Artur will combine two approaches:
👉 ToP Consensus Workshop to generate, cluster and name the collective perspectives emerging from the group.
👉 Force Field Analysis (by Kurt Lewin) to look at the forces supporting change and those working against it.
Working individually, in small groups and then collectively, we will build a shared picture of what can drive organisational sustainability ... and what can stand in its way.What to expect 💡
This is not a presentation about sustainability.
Expect to think, contribute, discuss, cluster ideas and build meaning together. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to observe and experience the facilitation process itself.
As with our Facilitator Studios, the session is a space for practitioners to experiment, learn from each other and reflect on the method as well as the topic.About our facilitator
Artur Kasza is a project manager, project management trainer and group facilitator. He is affiliated with ICA:UK and is a Technology of Participation (ToP) facilitator and co-trainer.
In his facilitation practice, Artur combines approaches from project management, change management and sustainability. He has facilitated workshops in environments ranging from high-tech software development to social organisations.🧭 Whether you are an experienced facilitator, starting your facilitation journey, or simply curious about how groups can explore complex organisational questions together, you are warmly welcome.
Come ready to contribute your perspective ... and to explore the process behind the conversation.#Facilitation #OrganisationalSustainability #TechnologyOfParticipation #ForceFieldAnalysis #IAFBelgium
