  • Are you interested in registering for a CPF assessment event as an IAF Certified Professional Facilitator candidate in London, or maybe Birmingham?

If we have enough CPF candidates for an assessment in London then that can be arranged with IAF, and we could even arrange some meetup support for candidates as they prepare their applications and portfolios.

Please share any questions or suggestions in a comment below, and please note the deadline for registering with IAF as a candidate is September 15.

Hi all, I'm not sure how many of those who RSVPd here have registered with IAF to attend next week's CPF assessment, but please note that the deadline for doing so was in September - for those who have not, dates have now been announced for 2017 at https://www.iaf-world.org/site/events/

Thanks Lindsay for confirming December 12 & 13 for a UK CPF assessment. If you would like to be assessed, please register with IAF and specify which day you prefer - for details see https://www.iaf-world.org/site/professional/cpf

Hi all, have you expressed an interest directly with the IAF office to help to make this happen? So far around 25 have expressed an interest on this page and/or in the doodle poll but the IAF office tell me they have received only half a dozen emails (and I think they will need more than a dozen)....

  • Martin G.

Hi all, I have had clarification from the IAF office that the application fee for CPF assessment is $1,500 USD (non-refundable) and due with the submission of application part I. The fee will increase from January to $2,350, and that higher fee will apply to any event scheduled to take place in 2017. There will not be an option to register this year in order to get the lower price for events in future years.

I have heard from almost 20 people now who may be interested, however I heard from the IAF office that they have so far heard from only two directly. My guess is that they will want to hear from at least 8 or 10 in order to be fairly sure of the minimum 6 and to have a good chance of the preferred group of 12. So please all do email [masked] if you would like this to happen!

Is it first come first served?

      June 27

    • Lindsay S.

Hi Canute, we add people to the list in the order we receive their applications, but if we are doing a 2 day assessment and there is one day that you prefer then you can specify that day. After we receive the first 12 applications, the rest are notified that they are on the wait list, again in the order we receive applications. This means that no. 13 is most likely to be moved up to the actual list if/when someone drops out or does not pass the first stage. As I said earlier, it's quite normal for two or even three people to drop out or not get through the first stage which is why I ask for 14 people before I set up the event. Hope this info is helpful but please ask if there's anything else you'd like to know.

There is a CPF assessment scheduled for the IAF EMENA conference on 5th & 6th October. We have 12 places available at that event. The reason I offered a UK event was because originally several people said that they would not travel to that conference. I'm happy to schedule a UK event but we will need 12 people at the event, which means 14 people signed up as usually not everyone gets through the first stage. There have been requests for a UK event for a couple of years now, so this is your chance before the fee goes up in January 2017! At the moment I don't need a location, I just need people to sign up with the IAF office so that I know whether to include it in my plan for the rest of the year. Please contact [masked] if you're interested. Thanks!
