Improv Course L1 - Fundamentals (Try-out Session)
📣 This Fundamentals of Improv course is for anyone who would like to have a great start to their improv journey!
To give you a chance to try it out before you sign up for an entire course, we are offering these demo sessions (for €20) after which you are free to decide whether you join the course or not.

Content: This course provides you with the fundamentals of improvisation.
Explore what improv is all about and become familiar with its fundamental values, such as acceptance, commitment and togetherness, in the most joyful way possible!
Apart from a lot of fun and improv knowledge, the course also provides an excellent opportunity to meet new friends and explore being out of your comfort zone at your own pace.
The course is 8 weeks, on Tuesdays, between 19:30-21:30, ending with a grad show 🥳.

Special Guest Workshop "Notice Everything" with Kelly Agathos

During improv shows, our scenes can often suffer from too much going on, or from vital cues not getting picked up. The stress of being onstage gets to us and we either try to overcompensate by adding more, or miss the offers our partners make. But how can we keep our brains from going into overdrive and truly stay in the moment with our partners, reacting to what is already there rather than inventing new things? How can we trust that what we have is enough?
This workshop will focus on exercises that will help slow us down, quiet our inner critic, heighten our perceptiveness and keep us attune to the rich world that has already started unfolding in our scene. We will create scenes that prove that we are all we need.Note: The workshop is for improvisers and/or actors who have completed at least introductory courses.

Kelly discovered improvisation in 2010 and instantly fell in love with the art form. She is one of the pioneers of anglophone improvisation in Brussels, co-founding 'ATC Improv' and 'The Ghost Sheep' in 2012. In 2017, after years of participating in improv festivals and travelling the globe to be taught by world-renowned improvisers, Kelly created ImproBubble. The aim of ImproBubble is to deepen, broaden and professionalise the range of improv opportunities and training available to Brussels-based improvisers. Kelly is the company’s current Artistic Director.P.S. If this is your first time attending our event, please come 10 minutes early so the host can meet you at the side door!! 🤓
