Note: their lobby will be in the midst of renovation, but will not impact our rooms with noise or dust. They have a pet-friendly policy but also have rooms on the 3rd floor for people like me who are mildly allergic to dogs.

   Over 50,000 solar-powered optic lights cover the rolling hills of Paso Robles near Vino Robles Ampitheater. Tickets are sold out, but they do sell stand-by tickets at the door at 7:30 pm (I can't guarantee admission)

4. Sunday, January 5th at 11 am wine tasting and lunch with winemaker Mike Sinor of Ancient Peaks in Santa Margarita. 5. Sunday after wine tasting: Ziplining at Ancient Peaks with 6 ziplines, a 300-foot suspension bridge and guided tour of the historic Santa Margarita Ranch! 2 to 2.5 hours; cost $119.
