About us
Hear My Voice Book Club is an inspirational, self-development, non fiction book club.
This is not just any book club, at tHear my voice book club you are the author, the main character, the star of the show, bringing life to each of the book we share through each member. For each book I will create a program related to the book that will help you discover how you can use these books to empower your life, your dreams, your desires. Sharing your views, perception with likeminded people & helping each other grow. This inspirational book club is for anyone who is interested in reading inspirational, self-development, motivational, self help, spiritual, awakening, mindfulness, healing, law of attraction, non fiction books. This book club is all about the reader.. YOU.
We have a huge level of Online book club events. The in-person book clubs are run at Waterstone Deansgate in Manchester but plans are under way to have one in Stockport and London. Most books chosen will all be available to listen to in audiobook format. This will provide more options to suit all preferences of reading, whether you enjoy audible, books or pdf this book club will chose books that allow for all. As someone who spent many years recovering from a brain injury and unable to read for many years I know the value of listening to books as well as reading. My hope for this book club is to allow everyone to join in regardless of were you live or your circumstances.
The group will include open discussion about the books of the month, with likeminded people, meditation, emotional freedom technique and inspirational activities & techniques to connect you to your dreams & desires.
Hear my voice book club is for non profit any donations goes into the running of Hevents workshops & one to one sessions. Which have all been created to support You to connect within & live the life You desire.
To Create a NEW life You must Create a New Mind. If there are changes You want in Your life, in Yourself and in Your relationships You must feed the mind with new options and new thoughts. Through reading it can create a new way, new perceptions of looking at life and a new way for You to achieve all You desire.
I started this group for the fun of reading and sharing, after suffering a brain haemorrhage and waking up completely blind I was told my eyes wouldn't improve, each book club is a reminder for me that you can overcome anything if you don't allow your circumstances to become you. My intent for this group is to uplift and through reading inspire your life. The mind is truly powerful, everything is created through the mind first. “If you can see it in your mind, you will hold it in your hands” Bob Proctor
I also share my story within the book club, if I inspire one person to not allow their circumstance to become them it is the icing on the cake of my own story.
Look forward to connecting with you all.
There is great love & inspiration for you all at Hear my voice ❤️

Manchester In-Person Book Choice; Letting Go by David Hawkins
Waterstones, 91 Deansgate, Manchester, GB📖 Letting Go by David R. Hawkins
What if the things we struggle with most, aren’t something we need to fix but something we’re ready to release? Letting Go offers a simple yet profound approach to understanding how our thoughts, emotions, and reactions shape our everyday experience. Rather than resisting or trying to change what we feel, this book introduces a powerful method of allowing, gently letting go of what we’ve been holding onto, often without even realising it.
Through this process, we begin to dissolve inner tension, release limiting patterns, and open ourselves to greater clarity, peace, and freedom. It’s not about becoming someone new, but uncovering what’s already there beneath the layers we’ve built over time.
Many of us hold onto emotions such as fear, anger, or doubt, not because we want to, but because we’ve never been shown another way. This book invites us into a different relationship with those feelings, one where we no longer need to suppress, analyse, or act on them, but simply allow them to pass through. As we practice letting go, something begins to shift. We feel lighter, more present, and more connected to ourselves and the moment we’re in.✨ In our session
This won’t be about just discussing the book. Together, we’ll explore:- Becoming aware of what we may be holding onto
- Experiencing what it feels like to allow and release
- Noticing how this shifts our state, thoughts, and sense of self
- Gently connecting back to a more natural, grounded way of being
Whether you’ve read the book or not, you’re welcome to join. The focus is on experience, connection, and bringing the teachings into real life.
