What is it ?
These sessions are open to everyone regardless of experience level of improv. We aim to have fun, try out improv, play games, meet new people, in a inclusive environment.
The beginner will be supported by the leader and the rest of the community, the experienced improvisers will train their skills !

What do we do ?

• Part 1 - Warm up games
• Part 2 - Topic of the session focus games and exercise
• Part 3 - Scenes based on games, suggestions...

How to register ?
Meetup registration opens on Sunday 13:00 for the following Wednesday meetup.
Should your plans change, we kindly ask you to cancel. For security reason, you cannot join the session if you did not registered.

Description:
The goal of this class is to build-in the knowledge learnt in the previous. The focus is set to scenes work: creating interesting characters, using emotions, exploring platform and tilts.​
This class aims at performing a show.

Teacher: Shawn Fisher
Shawn Fisher's journey towards improv started in the US sometime around 2010 where he jump in whole heartedly and never looked back. He was trained by the Second City training Center in Chicago. Shawn is an improv teacher at the IICV since 2018. He also plays improv with the Rainbows Last Wish, 2 buttons short and the English Lovers.

20:00-20:45: La Ronde - showcase by IICV class.
21:00-22:00: Improv Jam (performance wherein any attendee is invited to participate)​.

Description of La Ronde.
What brings us together? What pushes us apart?
Through a series of intertwined stories, this performance explores love, friendship, and the invisible ties that shape our lives. Honest, tender, and raw, it invites us to witness how relationships grow, falter, and find new forms of meaning in the spaces between people.
