Let´s explore the beautiful towns of Amealco and Aculco (both Pueblos Mágicos) and the amazing waterfalls and canyon of La Concepción.
AMEALCO
Amealco is a town in the Mexican state of Querétaro. Its name means "Place of springs" in Nahuatl. It is a beautiful and typical little town, famous for its dolls. The town has deeply rooted indigenous traditions; the inhabitants of the communities still use their typical costumes; their culture is Otomi.
ACULCO
Aculco is a colonial town with nearby the dam and waterfall of La Concepción. Its name means "In the crooked water" in Nahuatl. Aculco was founded approximately in 1110 AD by the Otomies. We will explore it´s beautiful waterfalls and colonial center.
