Let´s explore on a guided walking tour the beautiful Azcapotzalco neighborhood in Mexico City, one of the 21 Barrios Mágicos of Mexico City (beautiful neighborhoods with high touristic value).

Azcapotzalco is very worthwhile a visit, due to it's amazing monastery, it's lively market, it's 16th century church build on top of a Prehispanic pyramid, and it's Casa de Cultura with it's beautiful patio and intriguing murals.

Azcapotzalco in Nahuatl means "The place of the anthills". The area was part of the lake basin of Lake Texcoco and the Valley of Mexico.
With the growth of Teotihuacán, around 200 BC, in Azcapotzalco some important settlements appeared, located in the area that occupied some old preclassic villages.

The price is 350 pesos and includes a guided walk of around 2.5 hours by certified guide in English and Spanish. Afterwards we can optionally enjoy a traditional coffee or another drink at one of the local places.

Payment is 100% in advance. From abroad you can pay by making a transfer by Wise. And in Mexico you can make a cash payment at any 7 Eleven store, a cash payment at any Oxxo store, or by making a cash deposit at any Banamex bank. Or, if you have a Mexican bank account, by local transfer. Please send a WhatsApp to +52 55 1308 3732 (Whatsapp, Lidia Herrera), to check availability and to receive the payment information. We will Meetup in Azcapotzalco; we will share the exact Meetup place, after receiving your payment.
