An Asian Super Grid means Electricity for Peace (Oct 25)

Details
Electricity for Peace.
An Asian Super Grid could simultaneously remove North Korea’s nukes and huge amounts of carbon in this new Denuclearization- Decarbonization Deal.
Our speaker Robert H. Williams is Senior Research Scientist Emeritus at Princeton University's Andinger Center for Energy and the Environment.
When countries depend on each other they’ll prosper together and keep the peace. That is the idea behind an effort trying to bring North Korea out of political isolation, convincing it to give up nuclear weapons in return for becoming the hub of a proposed Asian Super Grid. Such a grid would decarbonize much of Asia, transporting clean renewable power from giant remote wind and solar plants to urban and industrial centers to replace harmful coal and gas plants.
