A group of students from the Colorado School of Mines bested 17 other teams from around the world to claim the top spot in the first Solar Decathlon ever held in Africa.
See how they cracked that difficult nut: to design and build on site an affordable, solar-powered net-zero-energy model house uniquely adapted to the North African climate and location.

Hear what allowed them to win and what their project looks like and what it achieves from Lucy Davis and Prof. Tim Ohno.

Note that for the occasion we moved it to CSM's Brown Building at 1600 Illinois St (between 16th and 17th St)

Also note that we're joining with the Denver Chapter of CRES as this event happens on the 3rd Thursday in the week before Thanksgiving.
