JLM-BioCity invites you to: AIMING FOR SUCCESS IN PHARMA Date: Tuesday, April 30, 2019, 18:00 Location: Azrieli College for Engineering (26th Shreibom St.), Bldg 3 (New Building, the building over the underground parking lot, all the way at the far end of the campus), auditorium C-205 with Dr NURIT TWEEZER ZAKS M.D., Operating Partner, aMoon & ALFIE YOUNG, Clinical Project Manager, PCI Clinical Services JLM-BioCity has invited a leading pharma investor and a top international pharma executive, as well as experienced Israeli entrepreneurs, to share their insights about the challenges, and pitfalls to avoid, in the world of drug and pharmaceutical development. Bringing such high-level bio-professionals, experience and knowledge, will contribute to the optimal development of new pharma and biotech start-ups as well as new ideas. The ying and yang for success is the correct combination of smart funding and bio expertise. Nurit was also the Medical Lead at Sanofi for Global Established Products and Strategic Portfolio Enhancement. Prior to Sanofi, Nurit served over a decade as Senior Physician at Sheba Medical Center and Maccabi Health Services as a Specialist in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, and as a Clinical and Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland. Nurit earned her BSc and MD degrees at Ben Gurion University and her MBA at Kellogg Business School and the Tel Aviv University. About ALFIE YOUNG, Clinical Project Manager, PCI Clinical Services: Alfie joined PCI Pharma Services in November 2016 after graduating from the University of Bradford with a BSc in Clinical Sciences. As a member of the Project Management team at PCI Hay, Alfie has handled the responsibility of packaging IMP supplies for multiple sponsors of clinical trials taking place globally. Alfie has been responsible for packaging over 30 different clinical protocols in this time, including large scale global phase 3 and 4 studies, and has developed a strong understanding of the themes of success in delivering IMP to clinical trials.
