About us
JRCC was formed in 1945 and is one of the oldest, continuing photography clubs in Virginia. Our mission is to offer programs and activities of interest to the beginning photographer as well as the professional. We have a number of professionals in our membership who contribute exceptional programs frequently for our membership and guests. We aspire to advance the art and craft of photography aesthetically and technically for all who wish to participate.
Note: Any photograph submitted to the club and/or posted by a member remains owned by and with the copyright of the member. The JRCC has a limited license to exhibit these photos for the purpose they were submitted.
If you want to join James River Camera Club, just show up at any meetup posted and you can meet folks and decide if you would like it. We try to meet in person each month.

Greensprings Interpretive Trail Photowalk
Greensprings Interpretive Trail, 3751 John Tyler Highway, Williamsburg, VA, USThis will be a two hour walk along the Greensprings Interpretive Trail. In addition to our members, I have asked a member of a local camera club who has walked the trail numerous times to join us as our guide. The portion of the trail we will be focused on is only about 2 miles long. So we should not have too much difficulty. If you want to stay longer, there are additional trails available.
