What we're about

This community group provides friendship and moral support to those looking for work in New Zealand.

The group is open to everyone looking for work in NZ. The group was founded for new kiwi’s, migrants and travellers several years ago, to help with building a professional network and settling into life and work in NZ. Because of this, our community has many regulars (family) from all over the world that have come together in NZ to support each other at a time that can feel isolating. It’s a pretty special group - with lots of diversity and plenty of members who truly want to support other’s.

Whether you need support/friendship from people in a similar situation or help during this challenging time in the job market - this group is here for you.

Meetings are an opportunity to learn from each other’s experiences and hear from guest speakers which often include recruitment and immigration specialists. We frequently have members share their job search success stories - our most popular event and a chance to celebrate the success of our members.

Your hosts are Chris (Kiwi), Anushka (http://www.linkedin.com/anushkav/) (Kiwi/Indian) and Clo (Irish) who have a background in HR, recruitment, career development. We have a passion for helping people with their career and helping ‘new kiwi’s’ settle in our beautiful country.
