The talk will explain generics in Rust, and will naturally cover traits, a feature that allows abstraction in the language. It will be given by steved, author of a mini-book, A Gentle Introduction To Rust, who is also distinguished in the world of Lua (and still loves it), has written more than a fair bit of C++ in his life, and is a trained physicist.

18h is informal greetings, pizza, and drinks. This is followed by a talk/demo, complete with questions and discussions. 20h is when we vacate the nice offices of Jemstep.
