Tall Tales

Details

Get Ready! Tall Tales Talkathon coming up on November 30 for our 5th Wednesday program at KET! Six (6) or more folks can sign up for the 3 to 5 minute Tall Tale. Invite your friends and relatives to hear you spin those yarns: A tall tale is a story with unbelievable elements, related as if it were true and factual. Some stories such as these are exaggerations of actual events, for example fish stories ("the fish that got away") such as, "That fish was so big, why I tell ya', it nearly sank the boat when I pulled it in!" We often hear about Pecos Bill, Paul Bunyon. . .etc. But you can make up a story as well!

We meet every Wednesday night from 7:00 to 8:30 with a bit of networking during set up at 6:30 - in the Kent Commons. Please come join us for this internationally known proven educational, communication and leadership program. Lots of free parking, across from Kent Station if you are a bus/train commuter and/or like all the shops and eateries there!

Our group has new members, former members rejoining, current members working on advanced projects - the entire gamut of Toastmasters in the learning-lab environment. Each person brings unique skills, interests and topics while we all work together to improve our communication skills.
