The Kohala Coast Dive club is a club that is free to join and welcomes all ocean lovers. We welcome beginner to advanced divers and are sponsored by Kohala Divers in Kawaihae. Our mission is to provide a community that connects divers to each other and encourages eco friendly ocean activities, friendship and fun.

Announcing a last minute dive spot availability at a steep discount.
How it works: When you get this email: Hop on dive availability (Hoda) go to that date (TOMORROW - Monday June 5th, 2023)
Quick:
Go online at www.kohaladivers.com click book online and select the 2 site dive snorkel trip for the available day. Sign up as a "club diver" and enter code HODA to your booking for each club member spot you'd like to book. Enter all other information and get the 2 tank dive trip for a deep discount. Pay online, complete your waiver and you're on!
Spots will be limited and first to book gets the availabilities ( just signing up on meetup site won't secure your spots on the boat) so jump on it fast if you'd like to join.
Since sign ups will be within 24 hours of the trip there will be no refunds on cancellations or no shows.

This is Kohala Divers third Adopt-A-Highway and Adopt the Blue event! We will be meeting at Kohala Divers, briefing starts PROMPTLY at 08:00 AM so arrive early to be ready to gather gear and jump right in! This clean up will be 1 hour long and we will break up in to 2 teams, each cleaning their own 1-mile stretch of highway! We will be back at Kohala Divers around 9:45 am and start to prepare for our second event, Adopt the Blue!
This will be a 2 part clean up with beach clean up happening at the same time as the ocean clean up! Briefing starts PROMPTLY at 11:00 AM. There will be 2 sections of the ocean we clean with land support and we will separate all trash pulled out of the ocean into categories for the dive against debris database!! If anyone is interested in taking pictures of this event please let us know!
All cleaning and safety gear will be provided: gloves (one size), trash bags, safety vests, ocean bags, 2 pickers, and buckets.
Divers will get one free tank for the ocean clean up! If you need to rent gear you can do so at the shop such as BCD, Regulator, Weights, and Wetsuit.
GLOVES ARE A REQUIREMENT.
DIVE BUDDIES ARE A REQUIREMENT (we can help assign at time of clean up if you like!)
Please bring plenty of water, sunscreen, sunhat, closed toed shoes, long sleeve shirts, long pants (recommended).
Water, juices, and sodas will be provided, please feel free to bring a lunch or snacks if you like in between events.
*It is not a requirement to participate in both events but we sure hope you do!
