What we're about

Hike and learn about plants, rocks, soils, animals, birds, insects, artifacts, topographies, and geological, ecological, and cultural histories.

Hike and discuss the latest news in astrophysics, molecular biology, mathematics, neuroscience, skepticism, Singularity research, and other tech news.

Hike and talk science with amateurs and area-experts in LA and nearby coasts, mountains, and deserts.

Hikes will also include areas of California east of the Sierra crest, Great Basin Desert, Mojave Desert, and Colorado Desert.

If you are a member of any science group that hikes and want your hike publicized, please email me your hiking schedule and science topic. You can contact me through the "Contact" button, under my image in the left hand column of this webpage. - Eric Diesel, Stanford CA
