Moving to LB

Hello fellow LB pagans,

I've got some changes in life circumstances in light of which I am
looking at moving into Long Beach, and I would like some advice /
recommendations from my pagan brothers & sisters as to places to live
in LB.

The company for which I used to consult in Orange County has been
disbanded, and I now work for a different company in Santa Monica. My
permanent and mostly unmovable home together with my dear significant
other is still in San Diego though, and commuting between SD and SM is
obviously impractical. So I am going to rent a small home-away-from-home
for myself, just like I did when I worked in OC. But renting in south
OC makes no sense when working in SM, so I-m looking for something a bit
farther north.

However, Santa Monica real estate is very expensive, and I feel that LB
would make a great compromise location for my home-away-from-home: it's
close enough to SM for me to commute comfortably, while living in LB
would also have a great side benefit that it is the one place where I
can officially call myself pagan, by virtue of belonging to a group
whose name consists of the city name and the word "pagan". :)

The place I'm considering at the moment is near PCH & Long Beach Blvd:
can anyone here give me any recommendations (good or bad) about this
area?

LLBB,
MS
