Greetings Board Gamers!

You are invited to another regular Board Game Meetup at the Silver Goblin (Gobelin d'Argent) downtown near Place des Arts.

The vibe is chill, inclusive and non-competitive. We play mainly to meet people and have fun. Games are usually in English but not exclusively.

Start Time: 12:30pm

End Time: 3:30pm

I will bring a couple of easy-to-learn board games and you are invited to bring along a board game, too. Games that are not overly long or complicated work best! You are not obligated to bring a game, but if you do, be prepared to explain the rules.

When you arrive, look for our small mascot, the LEGO UNICORN. He is usually prominently on display atop a stack of board games - unless he is still asleep in his stable at home, meaning I forgot him.

Silver Goblin has board games for sale and a few that can be borrowed to play on site. They sell bottled drinks but do not have food.

Please be respectful with your RSVPs and change your status to Not Going if you are unable to attend the event. If you are on the Waitlist, please check your notifications to see if you have been moved to the Going List, as it is common for RSVPs to change frequently.

If you are attending the event but running late, please send a message in the Event's comment sections, if possible.

Let’s wrap up the year together with a little holiday cheer!

I’m hosting a Holiday Mixer in the rooftop lounge of my building — a chance to relax, chat, and celebrate the season with the friends we’ve made through our game events.

We’ll have snacks, drinks, music, and — of course — a few light games! Feel free to bring some drinks or snacks of your own if you’d like, but it’s not required.

The vibe will be casual and festive — more of a social evening than a full game night.

Start Time: 6:00 PM
End Time: 10:00 PM

RSVPs will close 24 hours before the event so I can finalize the guest list. Priority will be given to members who regularly attend our Meetup events.

If you’ve RSVPed “Yes,” please update your RSVP ASAP if anything changes. You’re also welcome to post a comment in the event’s Comment Section to confirm your attendance or let us know your approximate arrival time.

Once the RSVPs have been finalized, I’ll send attendees a message with important details.

Note: Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere in the building.

Let’s close out the year with good company, light games, and a festive rooftop view! Christmas sweaters and Santa hats optional, but definitely encouraged.
