Greetings Board Gamers!

You are invited to another regular Board Game Meetup at the Silver Goblin (Gobelin d'Argent) downtown near Place des Arts.

The vibe is chill, inclusive and non-competitive. We play mainly to meet people and have fun. Games are usually in English but not exclusively.

Start Time: 12:30pm

End Time: 3:30pm

I will bring a couple of easy-to-learn board games and you are invited to bring along a board game, too. Games that are not overly long or complicated work best! You are not obligated to bring a game, but if you do, be prepared to explain the rules.

When you arrive, look for our small mascot, the LEGO UNICORN. He is usually prominently on display atop a stack of board games - unless he is still asleep in his stable at home, meaning I forgot him.

Silver Goblin has board games for sale and a few that can be borrowed to play on site. They sell bottled drinks but do not have food. They have an AC system that only has two settings (ON and OFF) and since it's usually on in the summertime, you might want to bring layers if you get chilly easily.

Please be respectful with your RSVPs and change your status to Not Going if you are unable to attend the event. If you are on the Waitlist, please check your notifications to see if you have been moved to the Going List, as it is common for RSVPs to change frequently.

If you are attending the event but running late, please send a message in the Event's comment sections, if possible.

You are invited to another board game meetup at Church Street Pub, (close to de l'Église Metro) - Halloween edition.

I will bring some Halloween-themed games, as well as a few others.

Costumes are not required, but if you want to dress up, feel free!

The vibe is chill, inclusive and non-competitive. We play mainly to meet people and have fun. Games are usually in English but not exclusively.

Start Time: 2:00pm

End Time: 7:00pm

You do not have to arrive at the start time and you are not obliged to stay the entire time of the event.

You are welcome to bring a game along as well – but it is not mandatory. There are a few games on site as well that belong to the pub.

We will be installed in the back room which is semi-private, with a few tables and a pool table.

The tables are not very large, so they do not accommodate big board games. They are more appropriate for smaller, more compact games.

The venue has drinks and standard pub fare. There is a minimum order of one drink or meal per person.
