What we’re about
Our free community drum circle is a noisy and fun, family friendly event, where we come together in order create community by playing drums and percussion instruments as a percussion ensemble. Our goal is to empower each other in the act of celebrating community and life through rhythm and music. People of all levels of musical expertise are welcome with whatever drums and percussion you bring with you. If you don't have a drum there will be a few available. Everyone is welcome. The event if free, but donation are accepted and are used to donate to the spiritual center that lets us use their facility. We meet in the first Saturday of every month in Claremont.
Group Etiquette:
1. Be kind and polite to all participants.
2. Don't use a participant's drum without asking. They are allowed to say 'No Thanks'
3. Don't attend the event under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
4. Feel free to try all of the provided drums and percussion
5. Try new self expression, and have fun
