Lake Ridge Park Paddlers

Lake Ridge Park Paddlers is a paddling group great for beginners and veterans alike. As well as in other areas, we tend to paddle kayaks, canoes, and SUPs at Lake Ridge Park in Woodbridge, Virginia. Most of our Meetups are appropriate for first-timers.  While some of our events are more challenging, we always indicate this on the activity narrative. Our typical paddling event is usually 5 miles long, but it can be longer. Sometimes we go out for a meal after a paddle. There is no alcohol allowed on our trips.

The group is private for our own safety, so that non-members cannot access your profile information.   If you are interested in the group but want more information, join the group and check out the content.  If this group is not for you after looking into it, simply leave the group.

There is a nominal membership cost of only $5 yearly dues to maintain the website and to keep the group going. When one joins, one has a two week temporary membership at no cost to see if it is an appropriate group. At the end of the year, any leftover funds are donated to a worthwhile non-profit organization that encourages safe boating. SYOTR!
