What we're about

This is a community about people and organisations who want to fully achieve the benefits of agile values (and related principles, practices, frameworks) and mindset. Ideally this wants to be a safe place where you can exchange insight, concepts, suggestions, experiences and challenges.

Together with our partner community (https://www.meetup.com/digital-transformati... (https://www.meetup.com/digital-transformation-in-london/)) we could create a complete offer of content for all people and companies who want to start their journey to the Agile & Digital age.

We are also on youtube where you can watch recorded sessions of our events with the best speakers on Agile and Digital topics:
Register to be notified when new videos will be available.

Our values are,
Respect (self, other members of this community, the rest of the world),
Integrity (personal & professional)
Competence (demonstrable & related to Agile & Lean topics),
Experience (at all level of the organisation, at all level of skills)
can be summarised in the word RICE, food for the masses.

As in an Scrum team, the organiser (equivalent to a Scrum master) is responsible to engage the community (equivalent to the developers) and to provide the platform (equivalent to the practices) for sharing contents (equivalent to the product), the community is responsible about the content and to provide feedback to the organiser to make things better. The product owner is the world!

If you agree this manifesto you are invited to join and to share this community to your networks.

🎬 Panel "Agile Industrial Complex" with Matts, Mezick & Minudel

🎁 Agile Industrial Complex: how to avoid the bad and get to genuine Agile

This is a panel with three long-time Agile practitioners. They will share their reflections on Agile currently not delivering the level of success its creators and early adopters experienced, nor the level of success they feel it should. They are puzzled by several aspects of the current Agile Industry Complex. They will share their ideas, suggestions, and tips for Agile practitioners, Agile professionals, CEOs and decision-makers to improve this situation and get the expected benefits of genuine Agile.

🌟 The panlists
- Daniel Mezick
Coaching executives and teams in Agile since 2006, Daniel Mezick leads Improving Agility. Daniel has guided dozens of organisations in the art and science of Agile improvement. An author and co-author of three books on organisation change, Daniel is a frequent keynote speaker at industry conferences and events.

- Chris Matts
Chris has been complaining about Agile since before he even knew it existed. A regular trouble maker who turns up and asks exactly the wrong question at exactly the wrong time.... Is it any wonder that he's not that popular?
Chris identified that there are two communities within Agile, the community of needs focused on solving problems and the community of solutions selling any old tat that people will buy. Simply put, the community of needs is almost dead, existing only in some sanctuaries and reserves away from the prying eyes of customers. The community of solution is going great guns, desperately squeezing the life out golden goose with both hand firmly around it neck. If you want to understand all of his unfunny in-jokes and the importance of the five quadrants of Cynefin, check this out --> https://vimeo.com/190010827

- Luca Minudel
Luca Minudel is an Agile practitioner and member of the Agile Community since the beginnings of the movement. He is a Lean-Agile Coach & Trainer, Transformation lead, and author of Living Complexity, with 20+ years in professional software delivery and digital product development, most of them with Lean and Agile.

🎬 "Transform your LEARNING with the Transform deck TOOL" with Terry Pearce

🎁 Whether you’re talking about formal or informal training and learning, the default is information transfer. ‘Here’s my knowledge, in a PowerPoint or a document or a talk: listen and learn’. Study after study has shown that to be an ineffective way to learn, but it’s still widespread, partly because it’s easy to plan. Activities that put people at the centre of things, making meaningful choices and practising skills, are difficult to build.

The Transform Deck is a physical and digital tool to inspire anybody who creates formal and informal learning experiences to transform their learning content into learner-centred activities. It’s simple to use, powerful, and can be used for any learning content and format.

What you will learn:
- How the Transform Deck offers options, alternatives and inspiration for learning activities
- How to use the Transform Deck in a variety of ways to transform learning content into interactive activities

🌟 Terry is a learning designer and games-based learning expert. His business, Untold Play, helps people create more effective learning experiences. He writes, speaks and publishes on games-based learning and gamification of learning, and has helped organisations around the world boost the effectiveness of learning, including HSBC, YouGov, LSE, Thames Water, Barclays and several NHS Trusts.
