• What we'll do
Want to learn Python or get started coding in a language that is fast becoming the most useful and versatile programming language for doing data science? Welcome to the wonderful world of the programming with Python! In this class, we'll be orienting ourselves to the syntax and usage of this powerful website building, number crunching, and easy to use programming language. This is a 100 level course that starts with installing Python and running commands in the REPL to creating our first program and exploring the Python Standard Library. This event is great for beginner coders, anyone looking to learn the basics of python or those who need to brush up on their rusty python skills. Agenda:
6:00 pm - 6:15 pm: Introductions and networking
6:15 pm - 8:00 pm: Hands-on Python Workshop, Q&A
Prerequisites
No Prerequisites required, besides a thirst for knowledge!

Alicia Key
Alicia is a software developer and associate instructor at our Boulder campus.
She is well versed in Javascript, Node, Angular and Express for web development and Python, sciit-learn, NumPy and Pandas for data science.
