Coding for beginners in JavaScript at Learners Guild (Oakland)

This is a class for complete beginners to coding. We'll sit down together in a group and write some code in JavaScript!
This class is being hosted at Learners Guild (https://www.learnersguild.org/request-application?partner_name=First%20Step%20Coding), a program designed to allow anyone with the right drive to pivot into software engineering -- without taking on debt.
By the end of this class, everyone will have programmed their own virtual, rollable dice using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Here are some of the topics we'll cover:
• What's the difference between HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (Hint: think nouns, adjectives, and verbs)
• Variables
• If / Else statements
• Creating and calling methods to re-use your code
What you need to know/prep beforehand:
• Please plan to arrive by 6:30pm.
• You must be comfortable using a computer.
• You do not need any coding experience.
