We'll show some art directed layouts, sample basic CSS Grid properties and get hands on writing CSS and HTML to design some page layouts.

7:00 - 7:30ish – Scott tells us about using CSS Grid today
7:30ish - 9:00 – Break into pairs and write some grid layouts, solve some grid challenges, or request a demo about whatever you like.

Scott Gruber is a web developer who build sites that work for everybody, loads fast and look good. He works at the UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability and is using CSS Grid Layout in production on websites today. Find him at https://scottgruber.me
