If you love playing or listening to the piano, our group is for you! All abilities/styles welcome and no previous performance experience required.he events will be informal and relaxed, the aim being to increase performance confidence and have fun.
We have the use of a few excellent venues in Norwich, each with grand piano. If you'd like to try a duet, there'll be plenty of accompanists available. Refreshments are included and non-players/audience welcome too. The attendance fee is £7 to cover the venue, insurance and other operational costs.
We'll be meeting at the Quaker Meeting House on Upper Goat Lane. This is very central (a couple of minutes from the market square) It's a lovely space with a large breakout area for our usual teas/coffees. It's also next door to the rear entrance to St Giles car park, so it's super-convenient if driving (it's about £2.20 per hour to park Mon-Sun)
We have the space from 1.45pm-5pm so you're welcome to arrive as early as you like in time for our 2:30pm start. There'll also be an option to go for drinks nearby after the event for those who wish.
