Beautiful Leisurely Hike @ San Clemente Beach Trail!
San Clemente beach trail, San Clemente metro link station, San Clemente, CA, USThe beach trail here is a great way to unwind, and hike, all within civilization.
The beach areas and trails always seem to draw a crowd, so don’t expect to find it empty by any means. The beach trail here runs along the coastal bluffs. The path is packed, flat, and sandy. This is a great hike for just about anyone due to the lack of grade.
You can see the waves break, take in the oceanscape,
surrounded by beautiful oceanfront homes, and palm trees. Offshore around the Riviera section of the beach, between Calafia and T Street is a small sea lion colony around the rocks offshore. You may hear them barking loudly in the distance.Meet at the North Beach hike Trailhead, located in the San Clemente Metro Station Parking lot on the North Beach.
Elevation: flat
Dogs friendly: Not allowed on the beach.
Bikes: yes, yield to pedestrians
Distance: 2.3 miles each way, 4.6 miles round trip
Time: 2.5 hours

Parking: There are five beach parking lots in town: The North Beach Lot, Linda Lane, the Pier Bowl, T Street, and Calafia, adjacent to San Clemente State Beach. You have the option to park hourly or for the entire day, and pay at the blue pay machines or you can simply park either in the neighborhood of one of the access points, which are a series of long staircases.

FREE Movie Night: "Mean Girls" on the sand in Long Beach
Rosie's Dog Beach, 5000 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90803, Long Beach, CA, US26 attendees from 2 groupsI'm excited to invite you to a free outdoor screening of a movie that will be fun to watch with the city of Long Beach. We'll be meeting on the sand at Granada Beach in Long Beach. We're also cross-posting this event with my friend Kimberly's group LB Edge so you can make some new friends. And because Kimberly and I like giving out gifts, if you check in with us when you arrive, you'll be a part of the raffle with juicy gifts that are mean-girl-approved. :)
Bring your chair, blanket, snacks, and a beverage. We will be getting there a little early to reserve a good spot. You'll see a few flags around our area, so you know where to meet us. FYI, when the movie starts, we'll have to take down the flag, and it's dark, so it will be difficult to find us but don't worry, you can just put down your chair and enjoy!
If you're a food truck connoisseur, you get to stock up at the food trucks that will be set up.
Timeline:
- 7:30pm or earlier to get a good spot
- 8:00pm-8:30pm - Movie starts (lights out)
- 9:45pm-10:00pm - Time to go home. :)
Parking:
This event attracts hundreds of people, so get there early to find a good spot. If you can walk or carpool, I'd recommend it.

Bubble Soccer on the Beach ⚽️🌊
Monty’s Dog Beach & Bar, 5098 E Ocean BLVD,, Long Beach, CA, USLong Beach, meet your new favorite way to fall down laughing on purpose.
If the World Cup has you itching to yell "GOOOOAL" while sprinting across the sand, I've got you. I'm partnering with Kimberly and her group, LB Edge, to bring Bubble Soccer to the sand next to Monty's. If you've never tried it, picture soccer, but everyone is wrapped in a giant inflatable bubble and bouncing off each other every few seconds. It's chaos in the best possible way, and you genuinely do not need to know how to play soccer to have a great time.
The details:
Date: Sunday, July 26
Arrival: 5:00 PM (get settled, learn how it works)
Play time: 5:30 to 7:30 PM

Cost to play: $28 per person, RSVP and pay in advanceHere's how it actually works. We'll have the bubbles for two hours, but nobody's in one the whole time. It's a serious workout, so we rotate players through in 5 to 15 minute stretches. You play a round, take a breather, grab some water, watch everyone else bounce off each other, then jump back in.
Beyond regular soccer, we'll throw in a few other games too, including Last Man Standing, which might end up being the highlight of the whole afternoon.
Not ready to play? Come watch. Spectators are free, no RSVP needed, just show up. We'll have separate wristbands for players and spectators so it's easy to tell who's who.
Snacks, water, and oranges will be on hand for players, plus music and two refs keeping the games moving. Once we're done, anyone up for extending the day is welcome to walk over to Monty's with us for food and drinks.

A couple things to know before you sign up. This is for adults 18 and up only, and while no soccer experience is needed, it is a physically demanding activity. Expect it to feel more intense than it looks.
Anyone you're bringing needs to RSVP under their own account.
