What we're about

This meetup group is for people working through the creativity book 'The Artist's Way' by Julia Cameron. Each week we review our work on a specific chapter of the group, including our experience of the Morning Pages and the Artist's Date. The format of the group is based on Julia Cameron's sacred circle concept and if the group decides to do some exercises as part of the meeting, they will be in 'creative clusters'.

This group will be self governing with meetups being suggested by members.

Check out the Message Board for Artist's Date ideas and to share your views on future meetups.

Mutual Fanclub: Developed by members who have completed the AW course, this monthly meeting helps you to acheive your creative goals by giving you what you need most - a personal cheerleading group! Watch out for our special six-month project building to a Mutual Fanclub Showcase in spring.

Mutual Fanclub monthly get together

Planet Organic

Join us for our monthly Mutual Fanclub meeting on the SECOND WEDNESDAY of the month. Please bring news of your creative achievements and intentions (and pen and paper). We meet at Planet Organic, Tott Ct Rd. (NOT Torrington Place, don't get confused!) Please bring £3 to cover the meetup subscription fee. Also, you must buy a drink or snack to keep the cafe sweet! Note: Due to the high number of no-shows recently, please make sure that your RSVP is up to date so we know whether to expect you! This meeting is not set up to work through the Artist's Way book, but we may discuss some of its tools. You don't need to have worked through the Artists Way to attend - it's open to all. This month's meeting is hosted by Kate(boo) About Mutual Fanclub We meet every month to share our creative goals and celebrate successes small and large. Last month, we had a very successful Showcase where seven members shared readings, music, artwork and animations. We hope to do this again in the autumn. New members are always welcome! We spend most of our time focusing on our goals and intentions for the coming month. Please come prepared to talk about how you got on with your goals (or 'focus') over the previous month as the opening 'roses and thorns' exercise. Then we'll go deeper into your goals for the future. Agenda 6.45 - Kate will be at the venue from 6.45 Please make sure you arrive by 7pm when we will start the official meeting - we will aim to end by 8.30pm.
