This online free workshop is part of the re:Clojure 2021 series of pre-conference workshops.

The workshop will be an introduction to probabilistic thinking for the general Clojure audience.
We will explore a data modeling problem through Bayesian Inference. Our main tool will be the Inferme library by Tomasz Sulej. We will see how it is possible to model our data through a 'forward' probabilistic process, and infer the unknowns by running it 'backwards'.
Daniel Slutsky is a mathematician and a programmer. Currently, Daniel's main activity is in the organising team of Scicloj, a community building open source libraries and tools for data science in Clojure.
