This online free workshop is part of the re:Clojure 2021 series of pre-conference workshops.
https://www.reclojure.org/#workshops

This is a workshop that demonstrates when, why, and how to compile Clojure code into a shared library that can be called natively by CPython (no runtime JVM required!), in the same way that Clojure code can be compiled into a Jar which can be used natively by Java.

James is a semi-functional, object-disoriented developer whose "body" of work supposedly includes the reanimated corpse of Alan Turing's neighbor, a travelling salesman. His Posthumous Doctorate work includes inductive positronic neural feedback conditioning of recursive n-multiplied submatrix transformations applied to the uninhibited generation of linguistically ambiguous jargon-sounding words. His origin is shrouded in mystery.
Supposedly he was raised by a pack of wild Yorkshire Terriers who finally accepted him after he was able to demonstrate conclusively that he was a good boy. Many experts and middle managers, however, disagree with this claim, citing evidence that he is not, in fact, a good boy.

Assumed knowledge: Clojure

Length: 120min

To register for the meeting, please say hello at the Clojurians Zulip thread:
