Come along to this London Excel Meetup to hear George Mount as he presents on advancing into analytics.
If you’re familiar with Excel, you’ve got the best home base for learning analytics. In this presentation, George Mount will demonstrate key statistical concepts from spreadsheets and shows users how to pivot existing knowledge into R and Python programming.
Attendees will pick up a framework for the analytics stack and see how to complement, rather than substitute their existing Excel knowledge.
The session will cover:
- How Excel fits in with other tools for a data analytics workflow
- As an Excel user, a clear learning path for picking up some of these other tools, primarily R and Python
- Some tangible use cases for combining these tools with Excel.
