Here in `London Woodland Witches ' our focus is in being Empowered by the powers of Elements, Nature & Ritual Magic! We hold rituals in Woods & Parks around London. And we look to Pagan traditions & Mythologies for magical inspirations !
You can easily attend our regular events:

- No note-taking, interviews, or recording - Our rituals are `worship & religious events' . You can experience it and go home to write about it.

Sekhmet Power -Leo new moon & Solar Eclipse magic ( London)
Millennium Bridge, Thames Embankment, London, GBWe invoke lion-headed warrior Goddess for power & Protection in our 10th annual Sekhmet Ritual at the heart of London!
Join us On this firey Leo New moon Solar Eclipse day, where we invoke the Lion-headed Egyptian Warrior Goddess Sekhmet for Power and protection, and vanquishing our foes! These rituals are suitable for Beginners, and all those interested in Paganism, Wicca & Ritual Magic. No prior knowledge or experience is essential.
- Eclipse Magic:; On 12th August a new Eclipse poratrl opens with a Solar Eclipse in Leo, and will close 2 weeks later with a Lunar Eclipse on 28tAugust. So join us as we do eclipse magic! (we will also b doing the Full moon l;unar eclipse work in 2 weeks time). Note: Mani Navasothy - wiccan Highpriest is the author of world's first ` 'Eclipse Magic workbook' (published in 2012).

Ritual format
- Attunement : Breathwork ; Then consecrations with salt-water & incense;
- Sacred space: Magic circle casting & calling 4 elements.
- Energy & Deity: Chants, Circle dance; Invocations to woodland God & Moon Goddesses.
- Ritual Magic: Spells, Healing. varies each time
- Blessing of food & drinks; ground circle; close quarters;
- Feasting; tidy up.
Sekhmet Magic.
During Victorian era, it is said that one of the Sekhmet statues brought from Egypt, was on a bridge and fell into river Thames. Some years ago, we decided to enact this by sculpting a Sekhmet statue out of Thames clay, performed a ritual and then took it and sunk it gently into river Thames by Waterloo bridge! Few years afterwards, we did a `Sekhmet Rising' ceremony. Since then we have performed this ceremony every year.
It is believed Sekhmet, a lioness goddess, was at war and in a frenzy of battle, lost her control, and began to kill all the people. Her terrified followers decided to fill barrels with beer and colour it red, and placed them before Sekhmet.. She drank them all and eventually reached calm & balance.
It is for this reason that in our ritual, we pour beer and wine over her statue as offering in the ritual, before asking for her Protection, power, and blessings.---- PRACTICAL ----
Duration: 7.30pm for meeting by Millennium Bridge. Ritual held by riverside. Event ends around .
Ritual Venue & Meeting point
- Gather on the pavement-steps under the the Millennium Bridge (south bank side, near Tate Modern Gallery) . One of our team member will be there with a Lantern to meet you all! We walk down to river bank, set up altar and start ceremony.
- Riverside These events are held in a public area by Thames shore, about 5-10meters away from water's edge. There are concrete steps going down from pavement to rivershore. Our rituals are planned on date/ time where tide is low.
What to bring?
- Ritual items (optional): Moon crowns, flower crowns Ritual cloaks, capes, masks; lanterns, candles in jars..
- Torch light for safe walking at night.
- Warm clothing & rain-coats/ outdoor shoes or boots (and ankle covered socks! ).
- Small ground sheet to sit on for social.
- Your own Cups/chalice to drink from.

Please bring food & drinks to share (optional)...example: bread, butter, putting bread, cheese, small picnic food, soft drinks, wine.
If there are unopened food items, please share them out and take them home. .

Mani is an author, teacher, initiated Witch & High Priest, with 30yrs of Wicca & magical experiences. Since 2004, he has been holding more and more ceremonies in Woods, parks and riversides as a way of connecting to nature. Cacao - Venus & Luxmi Ritual for Love & Abundance. (August)
Queen's Wood Road, London, GBSpecial woodland Cacao Ceremony with Venus & Luxmi magic - for healing, Heart opening, love & wellness
We gather every month in the woods for a full cacao Ceremony. Theme for this circle is Venus (Aphrodite) and Lakshmi magic (hindu goddess, and this date is very auspicious for VaraLuxmi in Hindu practices). This prepares is for the following....
- Magic for clearing blockages of the heart, affirmations & empowerment, Opening heart chakra with singing bowls & gentle chimes, and spell-work for personal Romance & Abundance.
Cacao effects.-------
Cacao drinking is an old tribal practice that works gently in heart-centre and energy openings in people. It takes time to work. It's effects are subtle, and can include a good feeling of wellness, connection, love, gratitude, mindfullness, positivity. So starting with groundedness, stillness, and balance is importrant in order to feel its effects.
We began Cacao circles in Hampstead Heath, in June 2021, with Freya Witch leading them . A new cycle began with our Earth Hour Cacao ritual in March 2025.
Our aim is to hold these in woodland, so as to get closer to the natural setting similar to real tribal cacao rituals.
- *We are using Organic, Vegan, Ceremonial grade Cacao, grown by the Ashaninka Tribe in Peru.
----PRACTICAL DETAILS -----
What you can bring
- Food: Vegetarian food / snacks welcome (no meat or alcohol).
- For altar : Flowers & lanterns, LED lights, ritual banners, statues of gods goddess or animal totems.
- Practical - very important. : Wrap up really warm. Bring Cushion/ yoga mat to sit on. blanket to cover your self..(even on a sunny day, it becomes cold at night when sitting in one area).
- Optional- Drums, rattles, percursion musical instruments; Note books; your own crystals & talismans to keep with you for journey; Your own Cup to drink Cacao from. (we provide reusuable cups).

Our Cacao Ceremonies are held in various public woods, in the afternoon or evening, in natural weather conditions. So please do come fully prepared .Meeting point (On "Queen's Wood Road" - N6 5UU):
- Walk along Wood Lane, then it changes to `Queen's wood Road, N6 5UU . We meet on the left, half way along this road, by a sign board to the Woods.

Mani (Facilittor) will meet & collect you, and lead all attendees into the woods, to a chosen ritual space, where the Cacao ceremony will commence. [ exact location in woods may vary - so please wait at road-side to be led in].
