The Python Notebook - A Gentle Tutorial for Complete Beginners

The Python notebook is a fantastic invention - and its huge popularity is only growing.

Notebooks allow you to work with code without hassle and distraction. They're great for trying ideas and experimenting because you can see results immediately - including graphics. They're also good for sharing your work in a presentable way.

This practical (and gentle) tutorial is for complete beginners to the python notebook, and will introduce us to the basics. Once you've done that, you'll be ready to take on your own interesting projects!

You'll need to bring your own laptop with Anaconda Python installed from https://www.continuum.io/downloads - get the Python 3.6 version.

You'll also need to book at the skillsmatter website. Please arrive from 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
