What we're about

We are a bunch of people who enjoy running and socialising afterwards. We are made up of an international crowd ranging from beginners to advanced distance runners (and everything in between). We have 2 weekly regular runs (Saturday morning and Wednesday evening), which both end with us going for a coffee/drink. Our runs are free to join and open to all levels. Disclaimer : all runners run at their own risk - please make sure you are safe and fit to run

Wednesday Run & Social Beer!

National Theatre

Our midweek evening run has returned!

We meet outside the National Theatre (NT) main entrance (river side), setting off at 7pm. Our route is a 7.5km (4.7 miles) loop around the river crossing Tower Bridge and finishing on Waterloo Bridge. Everyone runs their own pace and we welcome all levels of runners. If you don't fancy doing the whole run there are several bridges which provide sneaky shortcuts.

After the run we will go for a drink along Southbank near the Royal Festival Hall. As from 27th September KERB have taken over the bars within the NT including The Understudy which has a large outdoor space to accommodate the whole group so we will go there (weather dependent!)

So that we can stay in line with Government guidelines, please take note of the following:

1. If you, or anyone you live with, have any of COVID-19 symptoms or are unwell on the day then please do not attend and amend your RSVP to "Not Going".
https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/symptoms/

2. Even though things are easing, we are limiting to sensible numbers so please, if you are unable to make the run, amend your RSVP to "Not Going" to allow the next person on the waitlist to take your place.

If you do not turn up your RSVP will be amended as a "No-Show" and you will not be allowed to run with us again.

3. Out of courtesy to the host and your fellow runners, please be on time. We will set off at 7pm.

4. If your Meetup account notification settings are not set to be 'contactable by the organizer' as a minimum, we will remove you from the event. This is essential so that we can comply with NHS Test and Trace. We have a responsibility to protect you, ourselves and the general public.

There may be a possibility of a bag drop from October and if there is I will update the details Until then please arrive 'run ready'.

Saturday Run & Social Brunch

Kensington Gardens

Hi All,

This run will be taking place in line with government guidelines, though we are currently limiting attendees to sensible numbers. Please ONLY come along if you have signed up - and if you have signed up and do not plan to come, remember to take your name off the list to free up a space for someone else.

Please don’t attend if you or anyone else in your household is feeling unwell. It’s your choice whether you wish to wear a mask for the run, but if you want to go in to a shop for food or drink afterwards remember to bring one with you.

Coffee in Hyde Park afterwards.

We meet at 10am just inside the Kings Arms Gate on the South West corner of Kensington Gardens. Look for the Royal Garden Hotel, it’s next to that.

The run is about 6.5k/4 miles and normally takes anywhere from about 30 to 50mins. We welcome all levels of runner and at the end of the run we all meet close to the starting point to go for some well-earned brunch on High Street Kensington.

Here's the route:
