MALTA WEEKEND TRIP! Discover this FASCINATING, MEDIEVAL & ETERNAL island!

Visiting photogenic Malta this weekend, the island of the Knights, a certainly underrated hidden gem, steeped with history and stunning architecture, offering all main sites within walking distance, a perfect short escape, welcoming spring and blue skies! Put your walking shows on, let's go!

Come by your self and travel in a friendly group setting, enjoying going places all together, creating experiences, making memories, investing in a perfect way of enjoying your trip and time away! You may also choose to take some quality ' me' time and catch up later for dinner!

Indicative itinerary:

Saturday, 28th February : Arrive in the afternoon, in good time to discover the golden city of Valletta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with breathtaking views over turquoise waters! Home to the magnificent St John’s Co-Cathedral known for its opulent Baroque interior and Caravaggio’s biggest and only signed painting, the Grand Master's Palace and numerous cobblestoned streets with the famous colourful, enclosed wooden balconies, called gallariji,

Authentic Maltese food is an experience of a blend of Sicilian influences with an Arabic touch!

Sunday, 1st March : An optional half day trip to the centre of the island to visit the ancient, fortified city of Mdina, the "Silent City" and former capital of Malta and the nearby Rabat.

Also, optional early evening short visit with traditional water taxi (dgħajsa) or the ferry from Valletta to the Three Cities: Birgu (Vittoriosa), Senglea (Isla), and Cospicua (Bormla).to explore the historic, narrow streets and fortifications of Birgu, which served as the Knights of Malta's first base, and visit the Inquisitor's Palace or Fort Saint Angelo.

You may choose to stay for one more night, and enjoy at leasure the sunshine and this amazing island indeed, further arrangements can be made to stay in the same hotel room.
