Thursday, 16th July : Meeting-up at the airport or at the hotel, arriving in perfect timing for dinner in a local tavern in the vibrant and cosmopolitan old town with local delicacies of the island and get a first glimpse by night. Welcome to your Greek summer holiday!

Friday, 17th July: Exploring and discovering the old town of Rhodes during the day at leisure, wandering around the historical medieval castle and the renown street of the Knights, the Clock Tower, the Jewish square, the Hippocrates Square and most major sites. How about a refreshing swim at the second half of the day, to chill out at the beach bar!

Saturday 18th July : An optional day trip to Symi, the must-visit picture perfect island of beautiful architecture and unparalleled natural beauty, having some time for lunch, a rather quick swim and a visit to the monastery of Archangel Michael, dated back from the 18th century, renown for its potent high frequency energy location and blissful vibe if you approach with an open heart!

Sunday, 19th July : An optional day trip to Lindos. Think of white washed houses and narrow streets, colourful doors and flowers, authentic taverns and cute little shops, right beneath the dominant castle of the Acropolis, as well the crystal clear turquoise sea and sandy beach. In brief, as pretty as the definition of a Greek island can get!

Monday, 20th July : A day to chill out and relax! Around Rhodes town at the cosmopolitan cafes during the day, a seaside restaurant, or make the most of Elli beach club, sun bathe and swim while indulging in delicious summer handcrafted cocktails, mocktails and upmarket modern Greek cuisine.

Alternatively you may choose to visit Marmaris, Turkey, just across the coast! Let's discover the sights and flavours of this popular city, with a local sightseeing and a shopping tour,

Tuesday, 21st July : Ferry from Rhodes to Patmos. (duration of trip approximately 4 hours.40 mins - £68 at the moment) Enjoy the cobbled whitewashed streets of the main town, be immersed in its colours and vibe for an unmissable summer evening in the Aegean island!

Wednesday 22nd: Exploring Patmos! Visiting the picturesque sights of the island, the Monastery of St. John, a fortress-like monastery overlooking the main town of Chora with 12th-century frescoes, the Cave of the Apocalypse: The sacret site where St. John is believed to have written the Book of Revelation.
Enjoy the beach, indulge in authentic greek food and the unique energy of this island.

Thursday, 23rd July : Optional boat day tour around Patmos, visiting also to Arki & Marathi, a small cluster of heavenly islets that never fail to captivate visitors with their blissful serenity and seriously magnificent exotic landscapes.
Enjoy the nature and panoramic views, especially near the windmills of Chora.

Friday, 24th July : Ferry from Patmos to Kos, (2hr 15 mins, £56) flight to London and the option to stay in the beautiful island of Kos for one or two nights, make the most of this trip and explore further!

Friday, 31st July : arrive in Thessaloniki. Meet-up in the city centre, enjoy an iced coffee the greek way by the seafront and dinner in the food haven of Ladadika area, indulging in local specialties and live music, a vibrant experience evolving in the heart of the city in the summer.

Saturday, 1st August: A walk around the historical city centre with Eleni 'as a local' to explore its UNESCO world heritage sites and exclusive flavours, sampling sweet and savoury culinary experiences in hidden gems as we go,
admiring the diverse architecture of the city, a fine blend of Ancient, Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman civilisations, catching up with some of their well hidden secrets and legends.

If you'd like to visit the important Archaeological, Byzantine & Jewish Museums, the upper town walls, see inside the White Tower as well as other UNESCO World Heritage sights, staying for a day or two prior to our stay in Platamonas, it's highly recommended. Further guidance and arrangements can be provided if / as required.

In the late afternoon we are reaching Platamonas by private transfer, perfectly in time for a refreshing swim, on the foot of the castle!

Sunday, 2nd August: An optional full day trip to METEORA, a renown UNESCO site, with breathtaking views high up from the alien like sky high rock formations and the exclusively unique to visit, 14th century monasteries built literally on the top of the rocks.

Monday, 3rd August : Half day optional trip to picturesque Mt Olympus traditional villages. We are visiting Litochoro with Enipeas river where Zeus used to bathe, with an optional mild hike, visiting St Dionisios 15th century monastery and onsite museum, meandering in the cobbled streets of the truly photogenic Paleos Panteleimon where the Muses played as in mythology, with a local food experience by the byzantine church and the natural spring in the picturesque square of the village.

Tuesday, 4th August: Relaxing morning at your own time, afternoon optional visit (with an easy hike up the hill) to the 10th century Byzantine castle of Platamonas, beach time in Gallaria, a former train tunnel converted into a popular vibrant beach bar where the pine trees almost reach the sea, sea side meal on the popular beach tavern.

Wednesday, 5th August: Relaxing morning, beach time, return flight!

We are spending late afternoons - early evenings at leisure on various organised beach bars with all necessary facilities offering free loungers upon consumption and some of them water-sports, traditional sea side taverns in a laid back atmosphere, enjoying the beauty of summer, recharging for winter!

The area of Platamonas is renown for its organic foods, natural healing herbs from Mt Olympus, raw honey and so on. Make sure you stock up for your remedies! 🌸💪
