March's Code Share: First Expressions

Code doesn’t just tell a computer to what to do. Code allows us to express ourselves, organising our thoughts and sharing them with others: both humans and machines. Code provides us with three mechanisms to do this: expressions, combination and abstraction.

This month we are going to look at the first of these: expressions.

So that's it for all the events, just a couple of small things before I let you all get on with your weekends.

Firstly, the Cambridge Java Community are looking for people who can actively help to co-organise the group - http://www.meetup.com/CambridgeJavaCommunity/ - if you would like to get involved, please contact Ben for more details at [address removed].

Lastly,  writing about the Spring of Code event reminded me about some great J2EE roles we have in the office that work heavily with Spring - one is with an industry leading media company that can be found here: http://developercareers.recworks.co.uk/online/ViewJob.aspx?JobId=996.

The other role is very new, again working primarily with J2EE and Spring - it's with a world leader in the travel industry - they're a really exciting company who work with the latest, cutting edge Java and NoSQL technologies.

If you're interested in either of the positions above, or would like just like to get your group on the list, please let me or Barry know, we would be happy to help.

See you in two weeks!

Aaron
