- Open Sky Loop Lagerman followed by Le Peep (The Squeakel)Lagerman Agricultural Preserve, Longmont, CO
TYPE: Weekly walk | PACE: Moderate | TERRAIN: paved and gravel trail | DISTANCE: 4 miles |
This walk will meet in at the Lagerman Reservoir Parking lot and do a walk around the open part of the reservoir loop and then do a part of the Open Sky loop. This is the trail I ride the most in Longmont and I love it for the water, cows, flowers, and animals all over the trail. The loop will be around 4 miles. The total Open Sky loop is six miles and beautiful, if people want to do the whole thing we can divide into groups or find a way to make it work.
Afterwords we can get some brunch at my favorite Longmont breakfast place, Le Peep, (Or any other breakfast spot)
A walk is another way to connect with nature and other community members. All ages and fitness levels are encouraged. Bilingual (Spanish) is welcomed. Well behaved pets are allowed on a hand-held leash.
