Central Park "Summer Social" Fitness Walk

Spring will be in the air! Join us as we take a fitness walk around the famous Central Park Loop designed to get your blood flowing and your social life in shape! We’ll make stops along the way to enjoy some of the historic sights and history the park has to offer!
How it Works:- Your group leader will meet you in front of the Maine Monument at the 59th Street Columbus Circle Monument entrance to Central Park.
- From there the group will walk counter clockwise making stops along the way for rest, sightseeing and socializing.
- Along the way we will have some icebreaker activities that will get you socializing with others in the group.
- We will end back at the 59th Street entrance.
- From there you can join the group for a post walk snack and hot chocolate.

Can I come alone? Yes, most guests
do! It’s a great way to meet new people.
Ages: 21+
How difficult is the walk? The walk is mostly flat and is about 6 miles. Y0u should be in fairly good shape. This is not a race, we will set a nice pace. Bring water.
Dress Code: Dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes.
What if it rains/snows? We will determine if the walk will take place the night before if there is any question. If the walk is rescheduled you may transfer to the new date or get a credit.
How much? $15-$20 depending upon when you get ticket and spots left

How else is it similar/different from Traditional Speed Dating
One on One dates:
We will break participants into pairs of two, just like we do with traditional speed dating. You will get to speak to each dates for a specified amount of time (typically 4-6 minutes). After the specified number of minutes, the guys will rotate to the next date and the process continues.
Just like with traditional speed dating, at the end of the event you will be able to let us know who you were interested in. We will send you both mutual matches (you picked them and they picked you) as well as one way matches (they picked you but you did not pick them).
You are given 20 minutes from the end of the event to let us know who you are interested in and will receive the results the same night (usually within one hour) or the next morning. You will not have to wait 24 hours or more to get your results.

How many potential dates will be there?
The minimum number of potential dates will be 5 and the maximum will be about 15. If for any reason there were less than 5 members of the opposite sex in attendance, you would get credit for a future Virtual event.
