The Thanksgiving Basket Brigade is about reaching out and showing compassion for a family in need. It is about creating a meaningful & positive experience for the volunteers.

This was our first event for volunteer love last year and we will be doing it again!

Last year, the Anthony Robbins Foundation volunteers fed over 2 million people in 25 countries. To learn more about the foundation, go to Last year, The Luxury of Leather volunteers delivered over 250 baskets, with each basket feeding a family of four, that means 1000 people were touched by your generosity. This year, our goal is to deliver 300 baskets!

How Does It Work

We ask for volunteers to provide one food basket that will feed a family of four.
A volunteer could be one individual, or the combined efforts of family members, friends, co-workers, school department or corporations. The value of the food contents in the baskets range from $25 to $50

The names of the families who will receive the baskets will be provided to us by Catholic Charities of Dallas. These families have escaped from countries that are torn apart by war or famine. Many came to our country with only their clothes. Shelter and job training for one year is also a part of the refugee program provided by Catholic Charities of Dallas.

Please put all food items in a plastic laundry basket with a handle:

Canned soups toiletries ( shampoo, toothpaste, hand lotion, etc)

Last year was a little hectic on delivery day because we had so many baskets that were not tagged with the families? names ahead of time. This year, please bring your baskets to our factory beginning Monday, November 16th, and no later than Friday 20th. We will need the time to tag and color code your baskets prior to the delivery on the 22nd.
