What we're about

This meetup is for anyone who likes playing board games or card games. Any type of games. Strategy, cooperative, active, classic, teams or individuals.

Do you like games but have nobody really to play with? Join us! We will get together and people's houses and just have game nights together. Whether you are single or couples, you are welcome.

Looking for members willing to host game nights as well as attend. If you are looking for new friends who have the same interests as you, join us!

Friday Night Open Gaming at the Knight

Needs a location

Open gaming at Noble Knight--join us or bring your own! PLEASE RSVP here on this Event Notification if you plan on coming. It helps us plan for you, and have great games available for you to play. Let us know if you will be late arriving--we will try to save you a spot in one of our games.

There's usually a wide variety of games being played (think Pandemic, Ticket to Ride, The Crew, Chardee MacDennis, Stockpile, Chinatown, Ricochet Robots, The Cones of Dunshire, Taj Mahal, etc.), so you should be able to find one you enjoy. Newcomers are always welcome and there's plenty of people who enjoy teaching a new game to someone, so don't be shy if you don't know a game or any games!

If there is a game you'd like to get to the table that you're either bringing or is in the game library, please mention in the comments below, and people can reply if they're interested so we can get a group together right away for your game. Be sure to include how many people you're looking to include in your game, and a brief description could be helpful.

You are allowed to bring your own food and drink, or order food to have it delivered. No alcoholic beverages allowed! They do have snack vending machines and some beverages for sale as well.

Have Fun, Play Games, Make Friends!

Noble Knight is a great location that has a huge gaming area in their store, a big board game library that is free to use, and they're open until 10pm on Friday nights! PLEASE BE SURE TO HAVE YOUR GAME FINISHED AND CLEANED UP BEFORE 10PM SO EMPLOYEES CAN GO HOME ON TIME!!!

If you are feeling sick, please stay home.

Board Games & Lawn Games at Ben's - Memorial Day Weekend

Needs a location

PLEAESE READ ALL BEFORE SIGNING UP!!!

All attendees will be required to show proof of COVID vaccination before entering my property. Masks won't be required but you can wear one if you'd prefer.

This will be located on the far southwest side of Madison in the Glacier Ridge neighborhood; close to McKee road and Maple Grove drive, and a couple of blocks from Country Grove Park. I'll send out the address closer to the event day.

I have a couple of lawn games including Cornhole (Bag Toss), Skittle Scatter (Molkky), Kubb (Viking Clash), and Ladder Ball (Golf Ball Numchuks) but feel free to bring your own as well!

I also have several dozen board games and there's usually 2-5 games being played at a time. Feel free to bring any games you want to get to the table!

I'll have my grill going with some burgers and brats. You're welcome to bring foods/beverages to pass around. If you do plan to bring something please post in the comments so we don't have 15 desserts, which isn't necessarily a bad thing especially if we end up having a pie eating contest again because we have so many!

My 2 dog roommates will also be attending, but aren't allowed to play board games nor lawn games, so don't even try it! So if you're allergic to dogs or don't like dogs, or don't like dogs that aren't allowed to play board games, or are allergic to board games, then don't come.

Cheers!
