About RSVPs

From: Bob M.
Sent on: Friday, May 30, 2014 10:50 AM

We always tell people to take our RSVP counts with a grain of salt -- to not be scared off by a low RSVP number because a lot of people just show up without RSVPing. For example, last night at Picnic Point we had 5 RSVPs but 18 people turned out.

HOWEVER ... RSVPs do encourage others to attend, and some people still are discouraged by low RSVP numbers, so PLEASE DO RSVP IF YOU EXPECT TO ATTEND AN EVENT. It's not a life-long commitment, nobody's going to yell at you if you RSVP but have a late change of plans, and no salesman will visit your home. But it does help us to attract some players who may otherwise be sittin on the fence.
