Introverts, extroverts, ambiverts - what kinds of people are they, and why should you care? Odds are, you know and interact with all kinds of people in the workplace - people that are different from yourself - and you wonder why some are more talkative or louder than others, some are quiet and reserved, and some you just can't figure out. ;)

The key to good communication in the workplace (and in life) is to understand who you're speaking with and what their preferred method of communication is.

Join us for a talk about what it really means to have an introverted personality (it's not bad, just different!) and tips for communicating on development teams, working in an open office environment, or simply giving an update or presentation to a group.

All are encouraged to attend! If you’re not an introvert yourself, you’ll leave knowing more about them, and also gain insight into how you can adapt to their communication style.

AGENDA:

Networking and arrivals from 5:30-6 with a short presentation at 6, followed by Q&A and group discussion. Bring your experiences and ideas to share. We can learn from you!

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Catherine has had decades of experience working with technology and people. That's all you really need to know. ;) #introvert
