It's that time of year again!
Join us for the final Concerts of the Square of the season. If you've never been, the Capitol lawn is taken over by picnicking Madisonians, serenaded by the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra.
Women in Tech organizers Hilary and Cakelin will lay out a few blankets ahead of time to secure seating; just bring yourself, a snack, a drink (if so inclined - alcohol is allowed), and your friends / partners / children!
We'll provide the aforementioned blankets, some Girl Scout cookies to munch on, and some wine to share.
HOW TO FIND US
If you walk to Candinas, and then cross the street to the Capitol lawn, you should run right into us (see crude maps below 🤓).
The music starts at 7pm; we'll be there at 6:30pm, so feel free to come find us anytime after then!
While the concert goes until 9pm, it's very much a come-and-go affair; feel free to leave early or arrive late.
TRANSPORTATION / ACCESSIBILITY
Street parking can be a nightmare, so we highly recommend parking in a nearby garage and walking over.
Busses that stop near where we'll set up shop: #1, #2, #4, #5, #6, #11, #12, #14, #15, #19, #27, #28, #37, #38, #47, #57, #58, #70, #71, #72
In terms of accessibility, being able to traverse grassy lawn will likely be required.
