Hiking & Fun La Pedriza “La Charca Verde” – Sunday April 20th

La Pedriza es nuestro próximo destino de senderismo, una zona de gran interés geológico y paisajístico y una de las rutas más emblemáticas de Madrid por sus increíbles formaciones rocosas de granito. Seguiremos el camino creado por el río Manzanares y disfrutaremos del sonido del agua hasta el final del sendero con espectaculares vistas al Parque Natural de la Sierra de Guadarrama. Llegaremos a la famosa Charca Verde, que debe su nombre al efecto que produce el color de las rocas de su fondo junto con los reflejos en sus aguas, lo que le confiere su característico color verde esmeralda.

Una ruta de nivel medio de unos 14.5 km, apta para todos los públicos con buena condición física, en uno de los enclaves naturales más bellos de la montaña. con un desnivel de 200m🏔🥾

A mitad del recorrido realizaremos un picnic para descansar, comer y disfrutar de la zona y comenzar nuestro regreso.🧺

La Pedriza is our next hiking destination, an area of great geological and scenic interest and one of the most emblematic routes in Madrid due to its incredible granite rock formations. We will follow the path created by the Manzanares river and enjoy the sound of the water til the end of the trail with spectacular views to Sierra de Guadarrama Natural Park. We will reach the famous Charca Verde (Green Pond), which owes its name to the effect produced by the color of the rocks at its bottom together with the reflections on its waters, which gives it its characteristic emerald green color.

A medium level route of about 14.5 km, suitable for everyone in good shape in one of the most beautiful natural enclaves in the mountains.🏔🥾 Elevation gain: 200 m

In the middle of the tour, we will have a picnic to rest, eat and enjoy the area and begin our return.🧺
