UnFound: promoting co-op solutions for emerging tech

Co-operatives UK (https://www.uk.coop/) have teamed up with the good folk at Stir to Action (https://www.stirtoaction.com/) to deliver UnFound, a 12-city roadshow to promote co-op solutions for emerging tech at various technology hubs around the UK during April, May, and June 2019.

The roadshow will feature two hour sessions for pre-seed founders interested in ethical/social 'tech for good' concepts, introducing new models for shared ownership and raising social investment. We'll bring you examples such as Moov, a new co-operative taxi platform for Brighton as well as other pioneering examples of digital co-ops tackling local issues.

UnFound launched in 2018 as an eight-week accelerator, supporting early-stage digital ‘platform co-ops’ through masterclasses, peer mentoring, and investment opportunities. Through the roadshow this year we’re keen to promote alternative models to investor-led fundraising summarised in this recent report.
