Sensor CDT Mini-Make-a-thon
Details
The University of Cambridge Sensor Centre for Doctoral Training is holding a Mini-Make-a-thon in the classroom. They are seeking some experts to help with developing a sensor device for soil health monitoring in South Africa, specifically soil nutrients and moisture retention. Durring the day they are looking to tackle these challenges:
-
Find a way to get an Arduino to repeatably measure small capacitance with few or no extra parts;
-
Our design aims to be waterproof, easy to use and cheap. Find a problem with the current design and propose a solution.
