Have you ever wanted to work with an amazing team of people to create a new Boulder Open Space? Imagine if you could help create a place like Chautauqua and Eldorado State Park!

Come enjoy meeting great people and lean more at a fun Volunteer Wine and Cheese Social with the Meadowlark - Jumping Mouse Open Space!

There are roles to do what you love including:

• event and concert organizers

• community outreach - email supporters with invites and opportunities to make a difference

• meetup outreach - post great events

• fundraising

-legal - are you a law student or attorney? The University of Colorado and City of Boulder are violating the law by not conducting Preble's Jumping Mouse wildlife studies and an Environmental Impact Assessment before annexing this wildlife habitat into the city and approving development.

The federal Endangered Species Act will be a key tool in protecting the Meadowlark open space.

-web design and graphic artists

-accounting/finance

-speak at City Council and community events

-lead volunteer teams and nature hikes at the Open Space

-media and public relations. The University of Colorado claims to be an environmental and sustainability leader even as they plan to bulldoze wetlands and meadows habitat.

Media attention will help CU Boulder to do the right thing and build new condos and apartments on existing parking lots rather than destroying wildlife habitat.
